Sir,

I have the honour to transmit herewith six copies of a report which I have had prepared showing all the statistics relating to the recent visitation of plague which I have been able to obtain.

2.

I have distributed this Blue Book as widely as possible in the hope that the information therein collected may be of some assistance to those engaged in the study of this disease and may therefore redound to the benefit of this Colony.

3.

I have the honour to request you to be so good as to cause some copies of the returns to be sent to the School of Tropical Diseases. I shall be glad to furnish any additional copies that may be desired for purposes of distribution.

4.

The object of the return was to determine if possible
